Q. How can we access our Workgroup blog for the first time?

A. The option to edit your Workgroup blog will not show up in the left column of your Discussion home page until the Moderator turns on access to it.

To make your Workgroup blog visible, one of the Workgroup moderators needs to:

• Click Edit Workgroup from the left sidebar
• Select Workgroup Privacy Settings
• Find which type of Workgroup yours is (there will be a black circle to indicate what is selected) and in that row of settings, click customize these options
• From the Who can edit row, choose whether you wish to have only Workgroup participants edit your blog (the usual choice) or, if you wish, choose to let anyone on the Community Network edit the blog.
• If you wish to have your blog be only for Workgroup members, you can change the who can view column from letting everyone see it to just allowing Workgroup members to do so.

Once this is done, Edit blog will appear in the left column until someone posts something, in which case Blog will also show up, so others can view it.
