Q. Why was I already in some Workgroups when I first signed in?

A. You will see when you click Workgroups and on your Profile, at the end of your collection of Workgroups (if you are new, these may be all you see), a list of General Subscriptions. These are Workgroups you are automatically subscribed to by the Community Network system, based on where you live or other criteria determined by your community administrators. The General Subscriptions are not "chat" Workgroups, and will only be used by moderators to send out pertinent news.
