I Want To Find A Member With A Certain Area Of Expertise Or Experience

Q. I want to find a Member with a certain area of expertise or experience. How do I find him or her?

A. Use the Search All People function and type into the Search box a word or phrase that describes what you are looking for. If a Member has placed that information in the profile, his or her listing will be displayed. This information can also be retrieved if you are in the Advanced People Search interface and type words of interest in the last blank (see How does the Advanced People Search work?)

You can also search under Workgroups, Email Messages or Wikis to see if your topic has come up in any Workgroup List or Workgroup Wiki (see also How do I find information on a particular topic on the Community Network[new page]?) The more detail each of us includes in our profiles, the more likely Members who have things in common with us will be to find us!

Another way to find Members with similar interests is by going to a likely Workgroup Category and seeing who is participating in pertinent open Workgroups, or by browsing the Category's past Email Archives.
