Q. How do I post to a moderated Workgroup?
A. Some Workgroup email lists, often newsletter style Workgroups or the official news Workgroup set automatically when you join the Community Network, are intended only to serve as ways of sending email messages to Workgroup members. Only the Workgroup moderators (usually administrators or their designates) may send out messages, so that Members do not get overwhelmed with messages to Workgroups.
If you are not the moderator of a Workgroup and feel you should be, visit the Workgroup Home Page and click the "moderator" email link, and ask the current moderator(s) if you can join them.
If you have official news, but are not the moderator of the pertinent Workgroup, you can send the message to moderator, and he or she will send it along for you, or let you know another venue for sharing the information, if appropriate.
